Your phone does support VoLTE, but the problem is that your phone is not on the approved Public mobile whitelist of VoLTE phones. So, your phone does not work with VoLTE with PM.

That is likely why you are having issues with Voice with your present phone due to the 3G network changes as described before. As Softtech mentioned, you could try to "turn on" VoLTE to the PM network by dialing that specific number sequence. I will post the original post:

Thanks @computergeek541
As you can tell, it's my first time posting anything......
I looked up my device, and it does support VoLTE.

@AnitaK123 your phone could be impacted by the recent realignment for the 3G 850 band:

But since you are using Xiaomi, maybe you can turn on VoLTE for voice calls . To enable Volte, type *#*#86583#*#* on the dial pad and pushing send.

I read that my phone could be affected by a recent system change?
My phone is Xiaomi Redmi Note 12
CS_Agent does not usually read messages in the message forum. To my knowledge, your device supports band 2 on the 3g network. However, this isn't going to work as well at far distances, underground, or deep in to larger buildings. Band 5 for 3g is being repurposed for use on other network types. If your phone doesn't support VoLTE, this coudl explain some of the issues that you're having with phone calls. Text messaging and data are both able to use LTE and 5g networks.
