Bought the $8 unlimited US TEXT pkg and I can't get or receive texts. Can someone help?

HI@JL9 T-Mobile or AT&T don't matter. You probably thinking T-Mobile still have more 3G network. But text can transmitted via 3G and LTE, so the tear down of 3G doesn't matter

It is a 2 step process once you confirm the add on purchase check the networks, T-Mobile may be more reliable

@adamsolly - if you need to use iMessage or Chat Features (both which require DATA to work), you will need to also purchase a data Roaming addon.
Or, if this is a connect to the network issue, restart your phone or perform a reset of the device's network settings.

HI @adamsolly did you manually select AT&T or T-Mobile?
and you sure you have the Roaming text bought? Some people just loaded the fund and unaware they have to go back and back. Please check your Plan details page

What phone do you have? Did you connect to AT&T or T-mobile?
You don't need to purchase US roaming text add-on to receive incoming texts while in US.

Check that iMessage or RCS is disabled as those need an internet connection. Also, enable the SMS option.
