USA/ Canada Plan, Data not working in USA

I’m in Florida right now and it’s really spotty. Even though it will say I have full bars of data, nothing will load, iMessages won’t send. Sometimes it will work, sometimes it won’t. Any fixes for this? I have roaming enabled. I have the 60gb/month 5g unlimited everything else USA/Canada plan.

I’m having the exact same issue as the first prompt in this thread. This comment solved the issues for me! Thank you!

Change your network settings to 4G preferred. AT&T 5G won't work, and is likely what's causing you problems. And make sure you're connected to either T-Mobile or AT&T (not Verizon). And of course make sure data roaming is on.

@benhedge

make sure to disable Wifi Assist in the settings on your phone.

Ensure data roaming is turned on. If your phone is 5G, change it to LTE or 4G. Turn off auto network selection and manually choose T-Mobile or AT&T. They are the only PM roaming providers. (Verizon won’t work.) If you find you can connect to T-Mobile using LTE/4G, you can then try changing your phone back to 5G. (Others in the Community have stated that AT&T won’t work with 5G.)

HI @benhedge

it's a bit hard to connect 5G in US for some reason.  Try using 4G or LTE

and try manually connect to T-Mobile and AT&T , test both networks

@benhedge

your email should be working as expected...right ? Talk may be an issue if you don't have a volte enabled cellphone. If that's the case, try manually selecting 2G for talk and use only T-Mobile. Without a volte enabled phone you're limited to 2G for talk...which will be less than great.
