US connection issues

I’m down in mid Atlantic Florida using the Public Mobile US Canada plan. It generally works well but I’ve run into dead zone where there’s no Internet connectivity. Although the phone is telling me it’s got 5g and lots of bars. I don’t know if there’s any way I could mitigate this or at least find a map of actual coverage. Any ideas? This is an iPhone 13 and it doesn’t tell me who the local carrier is.

AT&T 5G doesn't work. Options are T-Mobile 4G or 5G, or AT&T 4G. Best to set your preferred network to 4G within your see device settings.

OK great answers! That’s the kind of thing I was hoping for. I had everything set to auto and I’ve ramped it back to Tmobile and LTE. And I know now where to change things if I need to try something else. Thanks again.

Might want to try to force your phone to LTE connection instead.  5G coverage is spotty at times.

In your phone settings, Click on Cellular tab and you should see your carrier.  Choose either T mobile or AT&T.

@bill2009  Set you phone to 4G/LTE not 5G and connect to T mobile or AT&T
