Hello all,
I've got a Florida trip coming up soon here and I'm on the $34 US Canada 50GB plan.
Just wondering if anyone on the same plan has been to the US and have had to do something specific to make their phone work or does it work as per usual seamlessly. Data, calling and texting that is.
Thank you,

Awesome, thanks guys! e
Sounds like power reset or limited connectivity is the only fix needed. I was more concerned that I would need to change connectivity settings or something else

My daughter used hers and all was fine. Just drive across the border or fly and continue as usual.

I have had to turn my phone off and then back on when I cross the boarder coming home so it connects back to PM.
I’ve had no problems connecting and using my phone going into the US but if you are having issues try that. 🙂

@mdeze215, don't be alarmed if you get a message from Public Mobile when crossing the border that says you are in the US and that you will need to buy a roaming add-on, this is an automatic message that often gets sent out to PM customers and since you have the Canada/US plan you can ignore it, no extra charges will take place. Also, T-Mobile and AT&T are the US partners for Public Mobile but there have been a number of PM customers who have reported that Verizon worked for them so don't be afraid to experiment between the 3 carriers if you are not getting very stable service with one

You're still roaming when you're in the US, but it's included in your plan so there are no extra charges. You'll want to:
1) Turn Data Roaming ON
2) Set Network Selection to AUTOMATIC
3) Set Preferred Network to 4G/LTE (because roaming on AT&T 5G doesn't work)

@mdeze215 , it's pretty simple to use roaming in the US. Make sure to enable roaming data. If your phone is not VoLTE compliant, you will have limited calling capability, only if connected to T-Mobile 2G network.
