US Roaming not working

I purchase US roaming 250mb and it does not work.

Do I have to purchase talk or text in addition for data to work?

OP replied at 12:31  indicated it is working , 

someone replied at 12:48 with all the different roaming choices , that earn one post

another reply "I get it. Cool" at 12:55 to earn another post

 

So, someone dipped into a closed case twice to bump up personal stats.  Cool way to keep on top

Glad it works.  Yes, manually select one of the two networks T-Mobile or AT&T, some states might one better with one and not the other, so try both if you have problem  🙂

Why so much misleading and unnecessary info, after the fact ?  The OP says his problem has been resolved.

For US Roaming 10 day packages
Unlimited U.S. Talk, Text and 250MB Data Bundle = $20
Unlimited U.S. Talk and Text Bundle = $15
Unlimited U.S. Talk Only = $8
Unlimited U.S. Text Only = $8
U.S. Data Only 10 day packages
250MB = $10
500MB = $15
1GB = $20

 

when you visit U.S. and then Purchase it,

sign in to Self-Serve, to review your account, if you found at Available Funds: $$

Try To Purchase Add-Ons Using Your Self-Serve Account

Follow these steps:

  1. Click on ‘Purchase Add- Ons’ on the Overview tab and scroll down to the Add-On calculator.
  2. Click the plus sign (+) to add and the minus sign (-) to remove selected Add-ons.
  3. When you’ve added all your desired Add-Ons, click ‘Buy Add-Ons’ or ‘Make a Payment’ below the calculator:
    • You will see ‘Make a Payment’ instead of ‘Buy Add-Ons’
  4. Select ‘Confirm my purchase’,
  5. after purchase successful you have to do Rebooting your phone
    what is meant by rebooting the device turn off and turn it back on.

Try manually selecting either of  AT&T or T-Mobile, whichever works best for you,
for Re-Purchase Add-ons you need to wait 25 hours after the expiry first Purchase Add-ons or you need to Contact Customer Support Agent by CS_Agentto do it for you...

The 10 Day US Roaming options only works when successfully purchased (as suggested by @softech ) and only works while in USA.

You can manually select either AT&T or T-Mobile...whichever works best in your area of USA..

@tomclaeys   Buying Add on is a 2 steps process:

1. Load Fund

2. Actual purchase of the addon

 

Are you certain you completed  Step 2 as well?  Can you go to Plan Details page  https://selfserve.publicmobile.ca/Overview/plan-and-Add-ons/ChangePlanLandingPage/  and confirm you did buy it and you see the Roaming add-on there?

 

you can just buy Data only without Talk or Text

 

Try to connect to both AT&T and T-Mobile and see which one works better.  

 

Also, make sure on your phone, it is enable for Roaming
