US Roaming not working

Hi,

The US roaming add on is not functioning and I can not get calls in or out on my phone. 

Help please

I have iPhone7 VoLTE compatiable. I have followed all the information in help, my roaming is on, I am connected to T-Mobile LTE... texting works but phone calls do not work in or out. I paid for US 15 day package and it worked for 13 days. I then paid for another US 15 Day text, phone data package and it is not working. I have been trying for 4 days to get this to work withno luck.

you must have a cell that is VoLTE compliant and on the Public Mobile whitelist in order to talk in USA. Without that, you won't be able to call or receive calls as the US has shut down the 3g networks needed for talk.

does mobile data work in US?

make sure you have roaming data enabled on your phone

and for voice issue, what phone do you have? you might not have a VoLTE phone that is compatible with PM system.  Since there is no 3G to fall back in US, people have trouble with voice call in US

try changing network to T-Mobile and set the network mode to 2G and see if it works

If not, the only way is to use Roaming mobile data with VoIP app. Do you have roaming data addon or do you have a Canada/US plan?

Ensure roaming is turned on and connect manually to T-Mobile or Verizon or AT&T. 

You have a VoLTE enabled phone on PM whitelist?

Hello @d987 

Try this. Go into your network settings, turn off automatic and a list will populate. When you see T-Mobile, click on it and the go back a screen. Make sure data roaming is turned on and then reboot. That should resolve your issues.

If it doesn't, then go on to a WiFi network if you can, open the app on your phone and check for the purchased addon and see if it's actually purchased.
