I have IPhone XR trying to activate new subscription using eSIM. I enter eSIM number but it’s not compatible.

Your iPhone XR is eSIM compatible so you should be able to purchase the eSIM in your account. You only enter the SIM S/N on a physical SIM. Also, if it is a SIM card that has been used before. It can’t be used again.

hi @BobC1
you don't "enter esim number" to setup esim. If you use the app to activate, it will install the esim for you, or you might need to scan QR code from the Welcome email to install the esim
if you have trouble with it, ask PM support agent to check, you can submit ticket by direct message:

Since the activation system isn't accept the eSIM number, you'll need to purchase a physical Public Mobile SIM card. If you haven't yet gotten to the payment step, you can simply start the process again once you have the SIM card.
