US Plan Offer Details.

I have three questions regarding this plan, therefore I have included them all in this thread.

1. Is the 40GB • $50 Canada-US Plan just a temporary Promotion that's available to all of Canada long term, or is this a limited time Plan that may be taken away at any given time?Screenshot_20230724_115202_Samsung Internet.jpg2. 'Calls to 411, 511, Reedly, California (559-726-XXXX), Carroll, Iowa (712-775-XXXX), Lake Park, Iowa (712-432-XXXX), Charles City, lowa (641-552-XXXX), Pine Ridge, South Dakota (605-562-XXXX), Redfield,South Dakota (605-475-XXXX), and Fort Thompsons, South Dakota (605-477-XXXX) are not included.' (Why??)

3. Even when on the MB Website in the 40GB Plan it shows 'Offer Details' and has Finer Print regarding the selected Plan.. at the very very bottom, it says 'This plan is for Quebec residents only and intended for use in Quebec.', however it's available to all of Canada with this message not being removed or updated.Screenshot_20230724_115151_Samsung Internet.jpgIt says this is only for New Activations Only, yet anyone can switch to this Plan within their My Account, or is that referring to just e-SIM only?

True, But, Can You imagine If 2/3 of PM Clients switching to the $50 Can-US Promo Plan?

Especially the 5G?

That would signify what PPL Love

I'd have to assume, if using a Calling Card, Only Way to call those #'s, If using Whatsapp, Perhaps only way to call those #'s

See those little symbols in front? Like **Whether... ? ***Limited...? +This...?
Those link back to elsewhere in the plans displays. The last one links back to only the QC region and the QC-only plan. If you go there then you would see that + symbol.
Apparently they're called Chicago-style footnotes. Though this style uses endnotes, not footnotes.

@Priority

and for your second question,

Telus has the same rule, so, we are just following

Why? could be due to Traffic Pumping with "some local exchange telephone carriers in rural areas of the United States inflate the volume of incoming calls to their networks, and profit from the greatly increased intercarrier compensation fees"

Check this posts when it was first announced on PM, there were some discussion about it

1. The offer is definitely limited time offer for now, I guess it depends when will Freedom pulls that plan away, but once you are in, you are in.  PM always honour grandfathered plans

3. the offer details was just a templates that PM uses for all Provinces.  So no worry
