Two phone numbers in an iPhone SE using a SIM and eSIM

I have an iPhone SE and was with Rogers.

In January, I added a second phone number for my home business using Public and added an eSIM for my new business number. It all went well so I decided that after a trail period I’d look into moving my personal number from Rogers to Public as well.

When I went through the process, I was asked if I had a SIM (which I did), but when I entered the number, it did not work. I now realize that the SIM was tied to Rogers and it would not work with Public. I wanted to keep going with the process so downloaded an eSIM which worked. However, I now know that the iPhone SE only supports one eSIM along with a physical SIM (i.e. a total of 2). So now I'm stuck and can enable only one number (either personal or business) at a time.

It appears the best option is to get a Public SIM card and install it in the iPhone.

My question is what is the best way to implement this?

-  how do I tie the new SIM with my personal phone number

- do I turn on my business number first, and then install the physical SIM

- does it matter which number is associated with each SIM/eSIM

hi @LarryK

buy a new PM sim card from Telus or Koodo store for $10 or buy from Amazon for $5

then you can login My Account and go to Profile page, and update the sim card number there.  If you cannot receive the 2FA code via text when login, click Didn't receive code and then Send email to get the code via email.  Or you can also ask PM support agent to update the sim card number.  You can  submit by direct message:
