Yesterday (June 1, 2025) a family member used my referral code, which was accepted, to subscribe to a plan. But he did not get any discount, nor did I get any reward. My Referrals is showing "Since joining Public Points, you've earned 0 Points from referrals, valued at: $0".
I wonder why is this? Do I need to wait for 72 hours or more for rewards to show. Is there a way to confirm that my referral was used properly?

on the original post, click the down arrow on the top right and select Edit Message and you can then update and remove the code

please remove the code on your post, this is community and you are not supposed to post it here
for the referral discount, it is in fact a credit. So, your friend still need to pay the full price first. The $10 will be added to his account as a credit within 72 hours. And for your part, you will see the extra 1 point on your rewards account on your next renewal
