Trouble Transferring My Number

I tried to port over my number when signing up with Public Mobile during the flash deal. However, the port did not go smoothly. I was billed for the sign up and now I have 2 accounts - the current one with Public Mobile and my previous carrier. I still get texts at my number from my previous carrier and that service hasn't stopped yet, while I can use the data from Public Mobile. I was anticipating a call but have not received one yet.

I also have a referral code of: 473K09 , that I was not able to enter in the registration portion. Please assist.

there is a porting assistance team you can call and ask for update.  I can't post the number here, but I will message the number to your community inbox.  Please check and call them
