I have updated my phone number and info and I've tried resetting my phone and the service is still not available any suggestions is there a customer service number I could call

Are you able to try your SIM card in another working phone? That helps determine whether hardware issue versus PM service problem.
You could also try network reset of phone.

It says mobile isn't registered and I joined a couple months ago was a couple days past my payment and then was suspended and then made a payment yesterday the status says active and I thought I'd try changing my number to get service it says I've paid and have unlimited text and minutes not sure what the issue is

First, you login to My Account? what is the account status?
did you just join and not able to get these service working? or it worked before and just stopped wroking?
What you meant by you updated my phone number? did you get a new number?
And on your phone, any error status showing it is not connecting to PM network ? any status bars?
did you try to put your sim card in another phone to test?
you need to provide us more background for us to help
