Unfortunately, there are no roaming plans in Europe from PM.

If your friends and family have WhatsApp,  you can get for free WiFi calling and texting using your existing cell number.

Or use TextNow but you need to pick a secondary number on WiFi for free calling and texting.

Final option is to buy a local SIM.

Sorry, PM does not have any service in Europe

So, your only option is to get local data sim card for data.  

For voice calls and text, you can download VoIP app like TextNow, it will work as long as you have Wifi or mobile data

Please remember, if you need 2FA code while you in Europe, like from banks, make sure you arrange to receive via email or Authenticator app before your trip
