Traveling to the US

My plan is good until 2nd week of November. I will be traveling to the US this week. Am I still able to use my phone as normal or do I need an add-on? If I do an add-on, am I restricted from using my normal amount of data?

You're still roaming when you're in the US, but it's included in your plan so there are no extra charges. You'll want to:

1) Turn Data Roaming ON

2) Set Network Selection to AUTOMATIC

3) Set Preferred Network to 4G/LTE (because roaming on AT&T 5G doesn't work)

Yes my plan does say Canada and US in reference to both data and calling. I have never noticed that before. I appreciate your help so much.

@jkrfirefox  No if you have CAN/US plan just turn data roaming on in phone settings . And set phone to 4G/LTE not 5G and make sure your connected to T mobile or AT&T can also try Verizon also . But if you do t have CAN/US plan you will need US roaming add on

HI @jkrfirefox

If you have a Canada-US plan, then you don't need to buy any add-on

however, if yours is a regular Canada plan, you might want to buy the US roaming bundle for 3GB for 15 days (include voice and text and data)

And when you are in US, make sure you turn on roaming data, and try to connect to T-Mobile or AT&T or Verizon.  Try all 3 and choose the one that gets you best reception
