Traveling to another province temporarily

Hello,

I'm on the $15 monthly plan with 100-min Canada-wide calling and unlimited messaging. Does this mean that I can continue using the plan when I visit a different province in Canada? Will data continue to work? It looks like I can receive phone calls and texts, but can I send texts and make phone calls?

Thanks!

Your phone will work in another province as it does in your home province unless you have a plan that that is specific to your province (long time ago no longer offered) . You will be able to call and texts as normal.

Even plans with only province-wide calling can be used in other provinces and terriotories in Canada. The only differece would be where outgoing calls can be made to.  Despite what it said in some past Public Mobile help articles, there's really not such thing as a home province either.  It only matters where the customer is and where such outgoing calls are being placed to.

Hey @Iam51415

I too was once on the $15 plan with 100 minutes and unlimited incoming calls. I too, at the time, went from province to province while on vacation or work and I was able to use my phone anywhere I went. Since texting was unlimited and free, I'd text people to call me to save on my 100 calling minutes. Worked like a charm!!

Yes your PM service will continue to work as usual but remember about the 100 minute outgoing calls. It still applies but the. Incoming calls and texts are unlimited.
