Travel to USA

Hi! I have a plan enabling me to call USA with 60gb data. Do I need to purchase an add on for travel to USA to use phone to call and text within USA and to call/text Canadian numbers? I’ve read comments and am still unclear! Thanks in advance for your input!

@JBBHILLSIDE, as a heads up, it's quite common for customers to receive a message from Public Mobile saying "Welcome to USA. You will need a Roaming Add-On to use your phone...", you can simply ignore this message as it gets sent regardless of which plan you have.

no need to have other login to make and receive calls, they are included.  

But what phone you have?  only PM's whitelisted phone can use VoLTE for voice in US.  if you have iPhone 8 or later, or Samsung S22 and later, you are ok.

and make sure you are connected to T-Mobile, Version or AT&T.  (And when you enter US, you will still get a text about buy add-on, you can ignore it as that is a text that will be sent to everyone)

@JBBHILLSIDE  No , no need to buy anything extra add on for travel to US or MEX . The CAN/US/MEX plan having roaming built into them . Just remember to enabled data roaming on in phone settings when tracking to the U.S. or MEX and enjoy your trip . You can call to and from all 3 countries using text voice and data
