@Lovedeepm1 Adding to what @will13am has said, you can also use promo code 50FF12MTH which is supposed to give $5 discount for new activations on plans of $40+ according to an email I received from PM a few days ago. edit: adding discount is for 12 months.
PM also gives you 5% back in Points rewards for paying your bill or buying add-ons that can be redeemed after accumulating 15 points ($15) to be used towards a future account renewal or purchasing add-ons.
I would add the Fido deal is short term whereas the Public Mobile deal is permanent. With rewards considered, the price gap closes and could swing the other way depending on referrals.
Stay with Fido with that deal. Nothing with Public Mobile matches that currently.
Purchase a Public Mobile SIM card.
