Transferring number to a new devic

Hi,

Can I get help transfer my number from the old phone to the new one? I have attempted several times but it showed “failed, need to contact public mobile”.

@HoangD  Yes absolutely, once you have physical sim in hand log into your account profile page and sim swap the number like this

Is it possible to transfer an eSim to a physical SIM card?

hi @HoangD what have you done for the transfer? and from what phone to what phone (brand?)

usually with physical sim card, you don't need to do anything, just move it over and it should work

if it does not work, with the sim card on the new phone, try Reset All networks and check

if it does not work, any other error message like asking for a PUK?

@HoangD  If you have physical SIM card in old phone simply take it out and put it in the new phone and reboot the device . If you have eSIM then with new phone log into your account and you have to rebuy a new eSIM . That’s it and you will keep same phone number and plan
