It is better if you pick a SIM from a Telus/Koodo/Mobile Klinik store for $10 or Amazon for $5 or Canadian Cell Supplies for $3. Much quicker than ordering from PM.

To change the SIM Card number would be instant once you download the PM app on your new phone and login to your account then to Account tab>Change Your SIM Card.

SIM cards ordered direclty from Public Mobile can take about 10 buisiness days to arrive.  The ability to change to the new SIM card is available in the account/profile section of your Public Mobile self serve account.
