Hi, I am currently registered with you and was trying to keep the old number 647-xxxxxxxxxxxxx,from my previous provider, Carrytel. They asked me to contact you to have a request made by you, Public mobile so they can port out. Please help me, thanks.

I can’t even log in my account in order to start the process as they need security code which will send to my new cell phone. As mentioned, my phone can’t receive any calls or texts at the moment. So I am stuck!!

@Tuyetmai so, you already requested porting when you activated yesterday?
it could take couple days for the port as it is a landline transfer

Did you try the transfer yesterday? What's this temporary number? If you finished the sign up using a temporary number, that should be your number.
Like has been said though, you need to do the process once you get logged in.

Hi it is me again, I had a lane line from my previous provider, carrytel. Therefore I don’t have a SIM card. I can’t even login to my account which I just registered with public mobile yesterday as the number they give me is temporary so I can’t receive calls or texts in order to login my account to make changes as you suggested. All I need is public mobile to send a request to my previous provider to have them release the number since I can’t log in .

Looks like a home voip service. So I guess they wouldn't send a confirmation text. Once you start the process as mentioned then you contact them to verbally permit the transfer. Then you wait. Voip services can take several days to transfer. When you receive calls here then it's done.

you can start the port request by login my account and go to Profile page, Transfer Phone Number. Make sure you provide the account number of your old provider

@Tuyetmai Please remove your personal info from this public forum . But you can transfer the number over yourself from your my account . Notice transfer number under the first red circle in pic
Change # on profile tabs
Just be sure to keep old providers SIM card in phone to reply YES to the confirmation text
