Hi,
I have signed up with another provider but have asked them to request a phone number transfer text 3 times now. The text message never arrived. I did not renew my subscription with Public Mobile this month and currently says that my services are on hold. Do I need an active subscription to receive the confirmation of the phone number transfer?

Thanks for your reply,
I just reactivated my account, and called my new provider they resent the text. They say they see on their end that it shows "status is delayed". Still nothing on my end

Only number from an Active account can be ported.
yes, you need to pay and reactivate the account to port your number. To minimize the cost, you can change the plan to $15 and then reactivate with it so you can get the sms for port. Once you reactivate the service, call your new provider and ask them to resend the porting request
