I transferred my public mobile number to Bell. It has just been couple of days, but now I want to transfer it back to public mobile. Is it possible or do I need to get a new sim with a new number?

hi @Charlie21
if you choose to port the number when you subscribe, you don't get a new number or temporary number

Do I get a new number after getting a new esim and activating new plan?

hi @Charlie21
do not deactivate your Bell account
only number from active account can be ported. So, keep Bell account active. Get a new PM sim card, download PM app and subscribe. Enter the Bell account number at the porting step. After PM account is activated, Bell will send you a text to your Bell sim, you need to reply Yes to approve the port. Wait another 2 hours and the number will be ported into PM and your Bell account will then be closed itself

hi @Charlie21
you definitely can switch back to Public Mobile
Only thing is that you need to get a new sim card ($10 from Telus or Koodo store or $5 from Amazon or you can get eSIM instead) , and pick a current market plan (ie, you won't be getting your old plan) and subscribe a new account
and yes, you can port your phone number back
