@gmancbw- If your Koodo number was on a monthly (post-paid) plan (not a prepaid plan), you can do the number transfer yourself from your self serve portal.

[EDIT:] Is the number transfer from self serve 'bug' not fixed yet?  It's been almost 2 months...

Correct; not fixed. Time flies when you're having fun.

@gmancbw Then go ahead and follow their advice. Your Koodo acount must be active to port your number. Stay safe.

I am a monthly customer but I cannot transfer my old phone number from Koodo.

I see this message: "Unfortunately, this action cannot be performed. To transfer your number from another provider, please reach out to a moderator through our chat bot. To complete your port-in request, please open our chatbot via this link bit.ly/2GF1pHW and type in “port request”. This will put you in touch with our moderator team."

@gmancbw Did you activate your SIM with a temporary cell phone number?  Thanks. If you did, then go ahead and contact the moderators to port. Type "Port Request " in the subject message field. Give them the name on the account, number to port and your Koodo account number. If you didn't, then you should activate it first. Here's an article on activating if required.  How to activate https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-help/articles/activation-account-set-up

And another one on the refer a friend reward Refer a friend https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/get-help/articles/the-refer-a-friend-reward

Welcome to PM.  Stay safe.
