I did reboot the phone, I can now make phone calls and use data, but my only issue now is that I cannot transfer my phone number to my old one

you rebooted phone? when you say does not work, can you make calls ? can you use data?

I think you need to ask PM to check.

@Gfrenette49

You likely need to get back to PM Support and explain your situation.  PM support may need to manually restart port request or figure what is going on.  If your Roger's account is closed, that means that they released the number to Public mobile.  But, it looks like something went wrong.  Not sure where your Roger's number is at right now.

Yes, the other number wasn’t working and they just gave that to me today. The old SIM no longer works, PM support said everything looked good. When I try to transfer the number, it doesn’t work

hi @Gfrenette49 did you change your number to a new number??? you could have screw up that port

is you old carrier sim still works? If you changed to a new number for your PM account, you have canceled the earlier post request and you need to re-request the port.  Go to My Account, Profile page and select Transfer Phone number

I meant “reactivate” it , not deactivate….autocorrect

While waiting for an answer, my service got suspended, so I had to deactivate it(I hope they don’t charge me twice), so I changed the phone number to a random one. I can now make and Receive calls, but still can’t transfer to my old phone number

Yes I see that there is an eSIM in my phone settings. When I try to dial out, it rings, but then says call failed. I cannot text and data doesn’t work. I had typed “yes” yesterday within the 90 mins(my account is now closed with Rogers). I also just tried to reset the network and did a restart of my phone afterwards, it still doesn’t work. I am currently using the temporary phone number (which doesn’t work as mentioned above). When I try to transfer to my old number with Rogers, it says it’s not a valid number

@Gfrenette49

So you see the PM eSIM in your phone settings? Are you able to dial out? text out?  What about Data?

Did you respond "yes" to roger's confirmation port request text?

You may want to try a network reset of phone.  Note: this will erase any saved Wifi passwords.

PM gave us a temporary phone number, I can now open the application, but when I try to change it to my old phone number(from Rogers) it says it’s an invalid phone number

I purchased a plan with PM. I used an eSim and tried to reboot already, when I check in my phone settings, I see that my phone number has no SIM, and I could add an eSim, but don’t know where to get the info

@Gfrenette49

More details would be helpful.  Did you activate a physical SIM card or eSIM?

Do you have any service with PM?  ie. able to call, text or data?

What is shown on your phone?

Maybe try a simple reboot of the phone.
