I have a $25/month plan. It was unlimited when I signed up but there are no details now visible in my account. It just says:
There's a better plan available for the same price but it says "new activations only". How long do I need to switch to another carrier for before PM would consider me a "new activation"?
Offering better plans for people who aren't customers that aren't available for existing customers is enough to make me switch carriers.

If you port out and port back in as a new customer, it happens right away. However, never hurts to ask an agent to see if they'd help you switch.

This isn't something that members should be sending other customers to customer support agents for. Customers can only choose from the plans listed in the account.

@FUPM8 Unfortunately we can only change to the plans that are offered to us in our accounts despite what we see on the website , but before listing out might be easy to just wait until Black Friday towards end of Nov and certainly by x mas / Boxing Day and there will be good deals for everyone like there traditionally has been for both new and existing customers and just make plan change then for next renewal so you do t waste money doing it immediately or porting out and back in .
adding @FUPM8 if you do decide to port out and back in your will lose all bennifts you may have no like friend refferals and x mas add ons . And you will need new email
