Did you try the reprovisioning hack?

@troy_d   try to change your Network setting to 3G ONLY/WCDMA ONLY and see if it works better

or try to swap the 2 SIMs between you and your wife phone (Put your sim in your wife's phone and your wife's SIM to your phone) and see if it works.  That will trigger a re-provision of the Account/SIM and that could resolve the issue

Having the same issues, randomly between mine and my Wife's phone, straight to voicemail, no text, dropped calls etc...rebooted phones, still intermittent.

So it looks like service is working but there is a delay. Most likely due to network upgrade or maintenance or whatever reason they come up with.

Calls go directly to voice mail if number cannot be reached (phone off, airplane mode on, etc.) but SMS/MMS most likely get stacked somewhere and then get delivered when service become available.

I am also experiencing this issue. I thought I would comment instead of making a new thread. 

I am not receiving text messages or calls. At random times I get all my text messages together and calls go straight to voicemail. My data works just fine. I am using a OnePlus 7pro and I haven't had an issue for over a year.

Try the sim in another phone. If it works then put it back and try again.

how about outgoing calls and text?  and Mobile Data?

How about other services: calls, internet?
