Texts not recieving

I can send texts, my account is paid. I am getting screenshots from friends of my texts incoming, but there texts back are not coming through. Help????

Calls are impacted during peak times between different carriers this week, but texts have generally not been.

Except it has been reported that Rogers has an issue with their gateway that routes texts to non-rogers numbers.

Ask your other parties which carrier they use. Or you can look up which carrier is associated with their area code & prefix at http://www.cnac.ca/co_codes/co_code_status.htm

@lareanne  these problems are not happening with voip apps such as TextNow and Google hangouts and Google dialer combined, use them over WiFi to make/ receive/ send  calls and texts for free.

Not sure. I might try taking our my sim and putting it back in. Already tried restarting my phone and it does nothing. I need to contact my landlord, and yes they're with rogers. Hmm. Thx for the reply

@lareanne are your friends with Rogers, Fido, or Chatr? There seems to be problem with sending and receiving texts from the Rogers companies.

@lareanne  Cell systems seem to be overloaded, due to the COVID-19 issue..... there's been several threads here about the same topic already.
