I am a new subscriber and my phone number was ported. It was working fine the first few days and suddenly stopped sending and receiving texts. I have tried every suggestion and now I am unable to send in a ticket with the chat bot. Any help appreciated.

If you need better customer service and don't need data try tellus they have a plan that's 100$ a year for 2 years unlimited talk ant text. After 2 years it drops to 400min and 400 text. Being a first tear service you should be able to get better service then this 3rd tear one like this one. That an 80$ a year cheaper than the lowest plan here.

I'm fine with the customer service being online only, but let's not normalize this level of service. I've been with Public Mobile 6 years and never had it take longer than a few hours to get back, nevermind 4 days. That's not normal and not okay. Better communication would be nice. Blaming people for signing up for Public Mobile is not really helpful. No where on the website does it say "Hey, if you have an issue it will take 4 days to get back to you and you won't have text messaging working".

hi @gillybean1 while some said they waited couple days, but also some said they got a reply back and got things cleared on the same day. So, within 24 hours is the average

I hate to say it @gillybean1 and @Rastin but this is the service you chose to trust your cell phone needs with. This is a self help service mostly. Forums are your help. Customer service is available but at what price. Perhaps @gillybean1 you may wish to look at a more reliable service for your parents that has 24 hour customer service with a phone number to call if problems arise. I'm in no way shooting down Public Mobile, I'm just saying that seniors/parents should have something more sustainable for safety reasons.

24 hours? One guy said in the main thread he's been waiting 4 days. I've been waiting over 24 hours and no reply. This is totally unacceptable. Both my parents have no texts. They are disabled and don't understand what is going on. They rely on texts for some of their medical stuff. It has uprooted their whole lives. Literally nothing I can do to help them... just sitting and waiting. Insanity. They need to have a seperate queue for activation issues.

Just be aware there a back log of ticket at the moment due to this and other things. So the wait time is around 24hours. So add your info name number and email to speed things up as they may ask for it and you don't want to wait for a second response Just for that. DO NOT POST THEM HERE as this is a public forum. Use the link hTidegrow has in his post or use chat bot the orange chat bubble on the bottom right to send a ticket.

Yes, if only SMS an issue, it is a PM system problem with new activation. PM is aware of the problem and can only fix the issue one account at a time.
