Hi thanks again, I tried doing the reset you said to do but now I am just stuck with the phone number saying it is being verified and with a loading signal

It works now!!! Thank you so much for your help!!

@NKwan  Did you try my last suggestion of shutting down phone thru the settings > general bottom of page “shut down” in blue letters . This is different from rebooting the phone or reseting network settings it will take the phone right of the servers and when you start the phone back up should blip back on and hopefully straighten itself out . Give it a try if you haven’t already . Look at my last reply for and follow the steps . If should work

hi @NKwan reboot the phone.  Check iMessage is registered with your number or still blank. If blankz try Reset Network settings and then add the number again

@NKwan  Another thing you can try also is turn off iMessage again and face time then go to setting >genreal at the bottom of page you see “shut down “ in my pic

Then wait 2 mins power  back on and turn on iMessage and face time .

@NKwan   So strange , Do you have e eSIM or physical sim ? If physical sim can you test the SIM card in another phone ? If it works put it back on your phone and see if it clears things up . If all else fails you can ask support to refresh your account on their  end

Hi thank you for teh tips I tried both of these but now I am unable to reconnect my number to iMessage. It just says waiting for activation and that the number is verifying. It has been like this for a while now

@NKwan  try turning off iMessage and face time and turn phone off for 2-5 mins then turn phone back on and turn on iMessage and face time and reset network settings . See if that clear up the hiccup

Yes so when I send messages on my iPhone, they do not send and have that typical iPhone message that happens when you aren't connected to wifi even though I am. Then when I go on to my mac which is connected to the iPhone I can see messages that people have sent me that do no appear on my iPhone. I can send and receive iMessage on my Macbook but my iPhone does not show them even after rebooting the phone multiple times.

HI @NKwan

did it ever work? or it worked and just stop working?

try to disable iMessage, reboot and reenable

if same, go as far as remove the phone number on iMessage, reboot and put it back to re-register

I meant iMessages. Both mobile data and wifi don't work. Rebooting my phone also doesn't work but thank you for the advice!

HI @NKwan

you meant you linked your phone with MacBook , and you see the text on MacBook but not iPhone?  If it is, then the messages arrived on the iPhone already (if not, you won't see it on the Macbook)
