Hey all,
I signed up with Public Mobile and selected a temporary. I decided to port my phone number from Rogers, so it replaced the temporary number.
The ported number from Rogers works fine, but logging into my account Public Mobile website, the 2 factor authentication to get the 6 digit code shows it going to the temporary number still, so I am having to send the code to my email instead.
Another thing on the iPhone when I click settings --> cellular , the eSim "My Number" still shows the temporary number even though my ported number works fine. I tried clicking and clearing it out the temporary number and inputting my ported number but it just reverts back to the temporary number.
My profile on the website shows my ported number which is good, but I don't know how to change the 2FA so the text messages for the 6 digit code stops going to the temporary number so it goes to my ported number?

Glad you got the ID working. I do remember having to go to messages in settings and then turn off iMessage and then back on again but I can’t remember if I did something else as well.

Thanks! Your ever safe id change worked!
Did the esim on/off, reboot, iCloud test. Still showing the temporary number under "My Number".

For two factor, you need to log into your account and go to manage your ever safe id. From there you should be able to change to your ported version phone number. I did this on the website login.
i had your other issue also. I am trying to remember what I did. Try turning the sim off and back on. If you have not done a reboot, do that also. Check that everything is correct on messages and iCloud if you have an iPhone.
