Switching from $15 to $15 for unlimited

Hi community,

I am on the $15 plan that used to be $10 under the old and awesome rewards plan. With the new terrible rewards system, my monthly fee went up to $15 again. There is a new subscription available for the same price but with unlimited Canada-wide minutes. Mine are only 100 min for the same price. I tried switching but it wouldn't let me.

Any suggestions for how to make the switch.

Thanks everyone, I'll just switch provider then. No Name mobile charges less for more internet. PM used to be awesome and reward loyalty but it seems like now we're getting penalized. I'm out!

Did  a Public Mobile customer support agent say no to allowing you to have the plan? While the plan is intended to be only for new customers, there are sometimes exceptions made (but there's no guarantee of that).  I would fully undersatnd the feeling that needing to ask is an extra step compared to new customers who can just take the plan, but the worse that can happen is receiving an answer of "no".    If the answer is "yes" from a customer support agent, that would save you the time of needing to switch.

Telus yearly plan is a great option $100 unlimited calls and SMSs without any data.

Freedom Mobile has $119 yearly plan unlimited call and SMSS and 15GB per year, just make sure that Freedom is working fine in your area.

The new plan is for new subscribers only, though a customer service rep might be nice to you.

*Note: it has no data.*

Sorry, but the $15 plan that includes unlimited calling is only available for customers who activate a new account.
