Suddenly no sms on new account

I have started a ticket but haven't heard back. I signed up for public yesterday morning. Everything worked great. Then around 3pm I stopped getting texts from my wife. Odd thing is she can send pictures, she's in a group chat and I get them. It's not just her. Confirmed the same with 6 other contacts on 4 other service providers. I think the best way to describe is I'm getting mms but not sms. I have been through the tier 1 support restting apn etc dozens of times. I even factory reset my phone, bought a new esim. Still nothing. Basically thought I'd toss a message on here see if anyone has had the same experience. My first 24 hours with the service have not been great. I sent a message to support and the only response I get now is "hopefully we hear back soon". Do I just switch to virgin or chatr at this point?

Interesting.  Thanks for sharing that. I'll see what happens by Monday.

I had no text for almost 3 day before they fix my problem. First response took 24 hours just for them to ask for my info and another 36 hours for them to fix it. But once it started working I have not had any problems since.

Samsung Galaxy S22 5G. I've reset all networks, I've added the apn, deleted the apn. Like I said I've even completely factory reset my phone. No dice. 

Already submitted a ticket but like I mentioned we're just waiting for a response from higher level techs. I find it unacceptable to be 24 hours without sms capabilities

iPhone or Android?

Try reboot your phone and then Reset all Networks on the phone and check if it works. 

Some suggested to change the network connection to Manual and choose Public Mobile and test again

if still cannot send or receive sms or mms, then check with support agent.
