Just got an email saying Public Mobile can get Stream+. I found the instructions here, but don't know how to get a selfserve account with Koodo?

How can I get Stream+ as a Public Mobile customer?

That's as far as I got. I haven't been able to activate the account. It sends me to this automated thing and I don't know what to put in it. I went through all the things adding all my information phone number, postal code, and email address, then it told me it couldn't do it. If you like this is just a way for kudos to steal money from us.

if you have annual plan, you have to wait till it expires and change to monthly , then link your existing account

How does this work for people who currently have the annual subscription to Prime?  Would they need to change the annual plan to a monthly plan before getting this promo?

I just signed up and it works great! Went with the lower tier product (ad supported). Ads aren't too long and since Prime already operates that way, it's not much of a difference for us.

@BlaineGibson i think you should skip the phone number part.  Just create a Koodo self-serve account with no phone number to tie to

I did, signed up received confirmation step 2 requires an account with Koodo. When attempting to create one, it won’t let me use my phone number or email. Stating that the phone doesn’t match any Koodo accounts. I’ve contacted Koodo and am waiting for a callback. 

@BlaineGibson  did you pick a plan first by clicking "Add Now" and then create the Koodo account at the step after?

if so, you were doing it right.  It is a Koodo system, so, you need to check with Koodo support.

Okay, I couldn't find the Stream+ plans on Public Mobile. 

@Meitsy  and for others

you actually just need to click "Add Now" to one of the two Stream+ plan, then, it will bring you to a Checkout page and allow you to "checking out as a new customer." ..

It wasn't working for me. I would try to get a self serve account, but was unable to because the website wanted me to pay for an actual plan and then I could get self serve. The whole thing was incredibly annoying. So that's why I had to phone it in.

what was your initial problem?  i can setup the Koodo account without any trouble

For anyone else with this problem, I had to phone Telus, which directed me to Koodo. Koodo then made me a self serve account and they also took my payment information to purchase Stream+. So Stream+ is through Koodo, which you can get for free since you're a Public Mobile member wanting Stream+. You then need to activate Disney+, Amazon Prime, and Netflix through your Stream+ plan that you access on your new Koodo account. It's a good idea to then contact Disney+, Amazon Prime, and Netflix to make sure they don't charge you for your accounts anymore, as payment is now going through Koodo. It was a lot of work, so hopefully it pays off!

@Meitsy  The email you got has a link that brings you to the Koodo page. You will need to create a self serve Koodo account Login and with that login information, you should be able to purchase this bundle. You do not need to subscribe or sign up to any Koodo plans. Because the Koodo self serve account login is the catalyst for this bundle deal, you may not see it advertised on the PM page. Hope this helps.

I do have a PM subscription, but can't find the option for the Stream+ bundle in the PM website - have you seen it?

@Meitsy  Do you have an active subscription as a PM customer? you should be able to follow the instructions form the email and purchase that bundle with ease.

you need to ask that question to Kodoo rep. I think they have a number you can call....or at least they have a "call back" function.
