How can I stop the annoying notifications that my payment is due when I am on Auto Pay and have been for years. Public Mobile have my credit card info, my authorization to charge my monthly fees every month, why do they send out 2 or 3 texts about payments due? I have searched everywhere on the PM site, looked at some other questions in the Community forum, but found nothing as to this specific issue.
Thank you.

Hi @eatnb1 would be nice if we can select to disable
But since it is prepaid here, for PM's benefits and the customers own good, it is good to remind them. If they missed the payment, service will he suspended and people would not be happen then

Unfortunate, but I guess it's the price for cheaper service. I wouldn't mind quite so much, but they send 2-3-4 texts all about the same subject...before, during, and after the event, and advising me that I paid, that rewards were awarded, etc., is just plain redundant.
Thanks to all who answered.

A bit of a nuisance for some, while not so much for others but nothing you can do other then blocking number, but prob not a good idea for the reasons mentioned

You cannot stop notifications from 611 unless you apply some tricks to your phone. Adding 611 to your contact list and then blocking notification from it will stop it. I do not advise doing it as 611 might send something very important you will miss and then complain you were not notified.
If SMS from 611 regarding payments is bothering you, just turn sound off or turn phone off line around billing day - during night.

@eatnb1 You can't
But the notification will be useful when you miss the payment from Autopay
The best you can do is to try to silent it. Add 611 to your contact list and then change the notification to silent. Then it won't beep or ring when it comes, but you can always go back and check when you want to

These texts can not be disabled.
You can block these texts from your phone, but it is not generally recommended. Since some PM special promotions and giveaways (ie. XMAS free add ons) are sent from the same number.
Here is one thread about this issue and a few suggestions:
