Someone shares the same phone number with me

I just purchased a SIM card today @4pm with public mobile. After setting up everything, when I check my calling history, I found someone from other province makes phone call using my number after 4pm. How do I know if my number is shared with others?

In some places in the East Coast, the voicemail number is in a different province - strange yes, but that's how it works.

Are they the same number? What aRe the last four digits?

I am wondering if the entries were just of incoming calls going to your voicemail.  In the usage history, they will actually show as outgoing calls.
