So Confused About US roaming

Plan states: Unlimited Canada-US wide minutes and messaging plus unlimited international text and picture messaging++" The ++ talked abt 411 etc

My data and text seems to work but the calls are not working no matter if I switch to T-Mobile or AT&T. Then I got a text saying I needed to add a US Roaming package. I thought it was a generic msg but for some reason the calling doesn't seem to work.  Have I been deceived by the plan or something else going on

@ReezyMills, apparently the VoLTE whitelist was removed recently.  So, phones that are VoLTE capable should work.  Please check that VoLTE setting is enabled on your phone.

the talk issue has to do with the model of the phone.  What phone do you have?  Only whitelisted phone model by PM can use VoLTE in US:

if your phone is not on the list , then you can try to connect to T-Mobile and set the network mode to 2G and hope to get the voice calls working

if not, you will have to use app like Whatsapp to make calls or use VoIP app like TextNow
