Sim card says that my billing cycle starts on the 3rd. I paid, still no data

I have been trying to get a real response from Public Mobile since the 3rd regarding this issue. Some mod named, "Cedric", said that he would help me on the 4th. I sent him the info he required that day. He wrote back to me, stated that he needed more info and, I sent him the rest of if on the 5th. As of today, I have still not heard back from him.

The issue is that my sim card told me that my billing cycle starts on the 3rd. I topped up my card on the 2nd and, upgraded my plan to the $50/8GB deal. After paying, I got a notification on my account page that my cycle starts on the 11th. I carefully rationied my data plan for the past month, and now I have no data on my phone.

I need Public Mobile to fix this by bumping up my billing cycle to an earlier date. I have written the mods privately at least 6 times since the 3rd and, I have been as professional as possible each time. I have not heard anything from them since "Cedric" asked me for the rest of the info that he needed.  So, can we get this resolved or what Public Mobile? This lack of communication is crazy.

Public mobile will also text you when you get close to running out of data.

This is also good to know, thanks!

Sim cards don't tell you when your billing cycle starts.  Your sim card has no way of knowing that.  As for that date that your phone is showing, that setting can be changed to any day of the month that ypu.wish.  The day and uaage there is to help as a guide only and is not linked in any way to your actual account.

You can actually do it yourself on the date you choose by renewing your plan early...

Well, thanks for that. Now, I have data on my plan. 4 days after asking public mobile for help.

You also set your phone to 2gb based on the picture.

Yeah, that's my previous plan.

Thanks, Robert.

You should use the billing day on your account - not from your phone data usages settings. Your screen capture is used to monitor the amount data you used since the billing cycle starts.  You can change that date.

Login to your online account.  You will fine the next payment due date which is the last day of you billing cycle.

Don't use the built in data usage app. And its not your sim card, its your phone software which you can change to whatever day you want however the one built into andriod is for months. You will never be able to customize it to exactly how you want. You need a 30/90 day app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.iwik.datawitness

Since plans renew every 30 days thats actually 12.16667 months per year.

You can actually do it yourself on the date you choose by renewing your plan early... which is just a waste of money and because public mobile uses a 30 day not monthly setup you will always fall behind

You also set your phone to 2gb based on the picture. Change it to 8gb or 100gb it doesn't matter thats just your internal phones cut off to prevent you from being charged for overages but since public mobile is PAY AS YOU GO, you canno't go over. So you will never have overages

Public mobile will also text you when you get close to running out of data.
