I ported my number in and it looks like the port was succesful as it shows my old number in the portal under my profile. Problem is when I put the sim card in it doesn't work. If i put my old telus sim card in it still works so I'm thinking the port was not succesful??? I get no service when I put the Public mobile sim card in

Can you try your PM SIM in other phone?
No matter if port is successful or not you should be able to at least make calls/sms. If port is not successful you will not be able to receive calls/SMS.
What message do you get when you insert PM SIM?
