Sim card hasn't come in 7 working days can I still switch to an esim instead of waiting?

Yes, you can use an esim and activate that. If you are a new user, if you sign up for a new plan the esim should be free. Although you may have to ask to get a refund from your physical sim, or keep it handy in case you ever need it (you may need it if you switch phones in the future)

@Kadenball  if you change to esim now, you will have to pay another $5.  You can, but you might need to ask support to help.  Use the Orange Chatbot button on the lower right to open ticket

or you can ask PM to let you pick up a sim card at a store near you instead.

it could take up to 3 weeks for it to arrive via Canada Post. Just download the free Public Mobile app and activate a new account and get a new eSim to start.

Are you sure this won't result in additional charges?

@Kadenball , you could perhaps reach out to support and ask if they will allow you to switch to e-SIM without paying again.  Use the chat symbol on the lower right corner to imitate a support ticket.
