It says Public Mobile with a few bars, but no connection is possible.

i have done all the resets, and still not working.

this is the same phone I used for the last 2 years and I have Public Mobile since 2016. I have been switching SIM card every time I travel from the UK to Canada and never had this problem before.

i will try one more reset and then will have a ticket with PM directly if not working

what is it showing on the screen??  does it show Public Mobile and some bars for the status??

This is an iPhone you uses when you traveled and inserted the local SIM before?

try plug the phone to a computer and start iTunes to see if it comes down with any update or newer Carrier profile.

A quick way is to confirm with another phone but you said you don't have one.  If you are close to an Apple store, maybe you can go there to seek help.  They can put the SIM on another phone and confirm

You can also try a Factory Reset..its painful to re setup the  phone after but it should work

@Salimaarnold

do one thing Make sure your phone is off before removing your SIM card,

and take your SIM card out and waiting for a 2 minute and put it back and turn on -This one is quick and simple.

what is mean for Rebooting the phone means to turn off your phone and turn it back on again.

or can you do try reseat the SIM card

1. power off your device

2. take out the SIM card,

3. wipe it clean SIM card,

4. put it back and power on,

5. toggling airplane mode off/on,

and do again Rebooting your phone means to turn off your phone and turn it back on again.

I did all the steps I was told, but nothing is changing.

On my network is says not available and on network provider Public mobile 46.0

My SIM card number on the self serve is the same than my actual sim card

Thank you!! I will do what you mentioned.. even charging my phone 😉

@Salimaarnold

APN settings are important for data, not for other services like talk and data.  Apple usually will update APN settings automatically.  No need to manual adjustments of APN(except older iPhones ie. iPhone 4 and earlier).

@Salimaarnold   what is showing up on the Carrier profile?

Carrier Profile: Settings->General->About

@Salimaarnold

Remove and reinsert your SIM again, then reboot.

Also check this...When you are logged into your Self Serve, go to the Change Sim Card option and ensure the 4 digits listed there match the last 4 digits of your actual SIM card.

OH, and fyi, your phone battery is low - 'charge me' it is saying.

@Salimaarnold

As mentioned above, try network reset of phone.  Rebooting phone. Also, can try toggle airplane mode on, then off.

No, i haven’t tried another phone, as I don’t have anybody to ask around me.

my phone is an iPhone.

i did select public mobile, but no changes

you tried your SIM on another phone?

Any chance your phone is an LG phone?

Try a network reset.  Also, check the network selection, you can try a Manual selection and pick Public Mobile.
