But I don't think anyone talked about text issue, so, not sure if your case is the same.  And does data work?

I'm in toronto Ontario and can send texts and receive them as well as receive calls but can't make them. Anybody else having this issue?

Same in PEI  - Strangely there are certain numbers that I can call. Most of them, inlacing my voicemail do not work. Also no incoming calls can reach me. I opened a ticket and received a response just now. I was told that I need to check my phone's compatibility. Seems PM is unaware of any issues.

I am in St. John's Newfoundland and Labrador - There have been intermittent service outages here all day.  Sometimes my phone works and sometimes not and same for my wife.  Mine is not working at the moment but my wife's is - and we are in the same room.  Not sure what is going on with that

No in/out call service from Kitchener/Waterloo, ON since this morning. Tried checking voicemail via numbers from other provinces, no joy. Seems also that PM doesn't support WiFi calling ☹️ Ya gets what ya paid for, I guess.

Current service situation on Thursday, November 5, 2026 : Despite what Telus is reporting on it's service outages page, some customers in Montreal, for just one example, continue to report that service is still out.  That means that the service outages are not limited to just Ontario.  

Sooner or later, it will all be fixed though.

Hey there Sweetz, it's always frustrating when one's phone service is down regardless of carriers, yet happy to hear that Public Mobile has been great for you since 2018. Usually it is a good and affordable service, yet today, what a mess eh? Hopefully things will get resolved for all concerned!

I can make calls but all the incoming calls don't work. It just rings and rings and goes to my voicemail and I'm missing a ton of calls since yesterday. I've tried everything

I have a Google pixel 9. I have done everything. Reset, reset Wi-Fi and data...etc . Anyone else having this problem? I can make outgoing calls but incoming calls don't even show up on my phone. People are saying that it just rings and rings and goes to voicemail.

sorry but I don't agree, BELL is known to have tons of issue on the east coast here, TELUS works best for Newfoundland as there are many drop dead zones here. I don't believe its one network which is better than next, as they all can go down in an instant.

i have been with PM since 2018 and rarely is there ever an issue and its the most reliable and affordable service for what and my household need.

Telus has updated the alert and it is now Ontario only

For those in  Quebec or Maritime provinces, please reboot your phone and test voice calls agian
