I'm also in Okanagan Falls . My phone does not have service (just says Emergency Calls Only). Likewise my husband's phone, and my son who lives in Oliver. Not on the Telus outage map. I've put in a ticket to Customer Service, but maybe do the same.

sounds like a local network issue. Hopefully to be resolved locally in short order.
I'm in west Koot's and service is perfect.

No. It's a service issue. It's not my phone. Gawd.
youre making a lot of assumptions. I work in Tech. This isn't a useful step.

You could also try a network reset of phone (note: this will erase any saved Wifi password)
Otherwise, you could report your situation to customer service agent. Click on the chat icon on the right lower corner of website and follow prompts to submit a ticket. CSA will respond within a few hours (hopefully quicker).

First thing the AI says to do, and the only helpful step. Absolutely this was the first thing I did

Also Telus won't let you report ansrlervice disruption unless you see the damaged equipment, so that map is useless.

Yep. Had full bars. Now it spots in and out. Wi-Fi works fine. Have rebooted phone. It's a service issue.

Did you have service before? Maybe try a simple reboot of your phone.
You can check the telus outage map:
