I am trying to activate a new phone and account, but the system sends the confirmation code to my existing land line phone. This means I can't confirm.

@Tomrkennedy are you transfering from landline? *s your sim card already working with outgoing calls and just not incoming text and calls??
if you don't mind, you can wait until the port is completed before accessing My Account. But port from landline takes longer, usually 3 to 7 days
