@Isaaku

Yes ia will working 100% with public mobile,

for samsung galaxy s7 release date February 2016, maybe is locked with old carrier
and make sure is unlocked, is better to buy it a canadian version...

just to you know In June 2017, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) updated the Wireless Code of Conduct to address a number of common consumer complaints. One of them was the cost to unlock a phone, even after a customer has fully paid for the device.

Public Mobile uses the following frequency bands:

  • 4G LTE and LTE Advanced: 700 MHz, 850 MHz, 1900 MHz and 2100 MHz downlink and 1700 MHz uplink (AWS).
  • HSPA: 850 MHz, 1900 MHz (UMTS).

@Isaaku

Yes unless it's from a different country and produced for its domestic use then you would have to check if it has the right frequencies for compatibility. An international version will work just fine.

Always good to check whether a phone will work with any provider, especially Public Mobile. Use more than one source to be sure.

  • 3G: WCDMA 2 and 5 bands  makes the phone compatible, which is needed for phone calls, and can also be used for text messaging and data.
  • LTE can be used for text messaging and data.
