There is an issue that PM is aware of related to the activation process and iMessages. If it looks like your iMessages is stuck verifying your phone number, this could be the issue. I have it right now and am waiting for a response from Customer Service. Apparently, they have a fix, but it is a manual tweak required. (which is pretty brutal...)

@Dima89 If everything else is working, especially incoming calls, it is likely a known SMS problem that support can fix. Submit a ticket to customer service at the chat/message icon bottom right of this page.
