Phone number entry

I have been subscribed for over a week now and am still unable to send and receive text messages and phone calls. It shows public mobile as active but is there a specific way to set up an iPhone? It says I need to add my phone number but it will not allow me to save it? Any tips?

@Rick22   Can you receive phone calls?  If you can receive phone calls but can't get SMS text messages then that is a known glitch in the Public Mobile system and you need to contact customer service to fix it.    That may also explain why you can't set the phone number.  Submit a ticket at the chat/message  icon bottom right of this page.

I ported in my old number. I went to Telus for assistance and they removed my old/physical sim. I suppose I could try to use it again although my eSIM from PM should be sufficient

@Rick22   Did you port in a phone number from a previous provider, or did you select a new number?  If from a previous provider, does their sim still work?
