Hello, I switched to public mobile a few days ago from Sasktel. After switching my SMS messaging has been stuck in verifying and I cannot text or call.

phone and data work?
if you have an Android, you can Clear data on the app info and try again (but make sure you backup important text before clear data as it will wipe all texts)

on iPhone or Android?
it is probably a iMessage or RCS problem. Go to iMessage Settings and remove the phone number, reboot the phone and enter the number again to re-register
if Android, go to Google Message, Settings and disable RCS, reboot and reenable RCS after

Does calling work?
Does the old Sasktel SIM still work?
Did you reply to the text with YES during the porting process within 90 minutes with the old SIM in your phone?
Did you reboot your phone by powering off then back on?
