I have been trying to change my SIM card for 3 months now, because I lost my phone with my original SIM in it and I don’t want to change my phone number. My monthly payment of $45 has come out every month and I have not been able to use the services I am paying for because every time I enter the new SIM number and press enter it just goes back to the old SIM number! So so so frustrating and very angry over the waisted money!!!!

Why wait for 3 months to pass before exclaiming you're wasting money?
Had you initiated a support ticket before this?
Check to see if your account is not designated as lost / stolen. If it is, that will have to be removed before changing the SIM card number in order to receive active service again.

@SkylerFortier You need to login to your account using incognito/private mode or another browser and select Quick Links/Profile and then change SIM card. Your number will attach to the new SIM after the update but might require a reboot of the phone.
If you're having problems with the SIM change, then contact support for assistance via chatbot here: https://www.publicmobile.ca/get-help
BTW, if you put your account into Lost/Stolen mode when you lost your phone, you will now need to Resume service first.
