I pre purchased a SIM card but still got charged $10 when I activated my new account. How do I get that $10 back?

Sorry, but SIM cards aren't free unless they're ordered from the Public Mobile website at the same time as ordering a plan during a free SIM card promotion.  Was there such a promotion happening when the the SIM card was ordered?

did you pick the option you have your own sim card? and your sim is a new one never used for activation?  Check with PM and see if they can refund the $10

Worst case, use a friend code to get the $10 saving to cover the cost
